Help Get Remy Adopted!
Is yours the forever home Remy has been waiting for?
Remy is a year-old border collie mix. He’s a sweet, smart, playful and loving dog looking for his forever home.
Remy is a handsome boy with soft, silky fur and the most expressive eyes. He weighs 53 lbs. Remy has gone through a two-week board-and-train program and will walk very nicely on leash, sit, and down on command, wait for you to pass through a door, etc.
He is a great companion for walks and jogging. He loves to play fetch. He’s friendly with dogs and people. And when he sees you after you’ve been away (even if only for 30 minutes) he gives you the most wonderful hugs and kisses.
His background: Remy was picked up as a starving stray around Modesto in early September. We adopted him from the Milo Foundation in October. After careful consideration we have decided that, wonderful as Remy is, he would do best in a home without young children (which we have) or cats, so we are hoping to find a better fit for him.
We are happy to provide his loving new family with a crate, bedding, bowls, collar, leash, toys and (of course) his favorite balls. In addition, his training program guarantee from Happy Hound will be transferred to his new owners so they can get any training support or help they need – like the great free Sunday classes to brush up on leash-walking skills.
If you’re interested or know someone who is, email suzanne@happyhound.com with the subject line Remy.
Thank you!
