Client Services
Happy Hound is looking for smart, talented individuals to join our team. We are currently recruiting Client Services Associates to help manage our daily operations. This position averages 30-40 hours per week and requires weekends and holidays.
Summary and Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years office experience
- Professional and courteous interaction with customers in person, on the phone, and through email
- Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to customer needs
- Have knowledge of computer software programs including Customer Appointment and Microsoft Office Suite. Prior experience with Kennel Connection is a plus. Training provided for company specific software.
- Process new clients, grooming appointments, and boarding reservations. Create invoices and process credit card transactions.
- Confidently interface with big and small dog breeds.
- Manage and complete incoming and outgoing dog reception tasks, and other front desk duties.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Record shift notes to track day to day progress
- Contribute to building a positive team environment and adapt to changing demands
- Able to comply with attendance requirements and company policies
- Demonstrate good work ethic and enthusiasm for learning
Dog Handler
The Dog Handler is responsible for the supervision, control and management of daycare & boarding dogs and ensuring the safety of the playgroup. The Dog Handler is responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of the playrooms as well as other areas of the facility as assigned. Shifts include weekends and holidays.
Summary and Job Requirements:
- A flexible schedule and availability on Weekends and Holidays (we are open every day of the year)
- A desire to learn and practice cutting edge dog-handling techniques
- Standing for the duration of your shift (5+ hours)
- Have the ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Be comfortable with big and small breeds (you will work with both)
- Have a positive vibe and good work ethic
- Cleaning up after the dogs is a big part of the job in order to keep our facility sanitary and healthy
